Finding copyright-free images for use in experiments

Please take care to only use pictures in your experiment that you are allowed to use – you don’t want to be sued for violating copyright.
You can tell Google to only show you images that are free to use, in the advanced options:
https://www.google.com/advanced_image_search
In ‘usage rights’, select ‘free to use share or modify’.
Quite often, people will also allow you to use their images for use in an experiment if the images are otherwise protected by copyright; just make sure to ask them explicitly and get their consent in writing.
